Kebayoran Lama PKL Relocation Awaits Land Purchasing

After controlling street vendors in Kebayoran Lama Market in last February, the South Jakarta Administration is looking a relocation place for the street vendors (PKL).

We're trying to acquire land area of 8,000 square meters to facilitate the traders

Kebayoran Lama Urban Village Head, Munjirin Rasyid said, his side is going to acquire 8,000 square meters land which located on Jalan Raya Kebayoran Lama, precisely in front of Ramayana.

"We're trying to acquire land area of 8,000 square meters to facilitate the traders. In the area, there was only some gold shops and there is still enough land," explained Rasyid, Wednesday (3/25).

Rasyid continued, the landowners are willing to negotiate about the land acquisition plan. Currently, the land documents are already in study. "The documents are already held by Cipulir Urban Village and being investigated. We also waiting  a statement of willingness to sell with the demand price," he explained.

If eligible, Rasyid continued, the plan will be discussed at city level to be submitted to the provincial level. "If it qualifies, we will submit the document to the Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade Department," he uttered.
